The proposed front dormer extension would be almost the entire width of the existing roof and would appear bulky, visually dominating and out of character with the other dwellings in the area. As such it is considered that the proposal would have an adverse impact on the character of the existing house as well as the street scene and be contrary to Policy D2 of the Adopted Local Plan.
