The Community Safety department at Sedgemoor District Council co-ordinates a range of activities to reduce crime & disorder and anti social behaviour to make Sedgemoor a safer place to live.

Since the introduction of the Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Act 2003 and Police Justice Act 2005, the Safer Somerset Community Safety Partnership has made great progress in tackling ASB at a local level.
