The Council advertised opportunities for contracts over £30k on  Supplying the South West portal

When selecting a supplier for The council officers must comply with SDC contract standing orders which were adopted 19th Dec 2012

Officers of the Council must follow certain rules when procuring goods, services and works. These rules ensure that we follow a fair and transparent process.

If Expenditure is less than £1000, a single quotation is sufficient.

£1,001 to 5,000Supply of goods, services or works.

Minimum two quotations.

Invitation to tender.

A minimum of four suppliers invited to tender.

All contracts over £30k will be advertised on the portal at Supplying the South West portal where suppliers can register their interest in working for SDC free of charge.

  • Works £4.1 million
