Christmas and New Year in Sedgemoor

Sedgemoor District Council will remain open for business as usual during the holiday period on all days except bank holidays.

Rubbish and recycling collections will be two days later from Monday 25th to Friday 29th December, and one day later between Monday 1st to Friday 5th January. The Sedgemoor Conversation


As a council, it is recognised that Sedgemoor is changing. Communities old and new are changing and forming. The Council needs to recognise the communities in the district, understand them and understand what we, as a council, need to provide for them.

As a result the Council have introduced the Sedgemoor Conversation which is a conversation with communities and locals about the issues and daily challenges that they are facing living within Sedgemoor's district.

The feedback from each event will be considered and any actions or pieces of work that can be done will be added to the Corporate Strategy as part of the Council's ongoing commitment to keep the Strategy live and dynamic in the changing times that we as a council and communities are facing.
