One You
In our adult years, the lifestyle choices we make can dramatically increase our chances of becoming ill in later life. Living healthily in middle age can double your chances of being healthy when you are 70. Making small changes now can improve your health right away. It is never too late to start as there is only One You.
How are you is a quiz for over 18's only, supplied by Public Health England and is designed to point you in the direction. The quiz, whilst a helpful tool, is not a medical assessment - if you're worried about your health you should speak to a medical professional.

NHS Health checks
The NHS Health Check is your chance to get your free midlife MOT. For adults in England aged 40-74 without a pre-existing condition, it checks your circulatory and vascular health and what your risk of getting a disabling vascular disease is. The purpose of the health check is to assess your risk of developing heart disease, high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes, kidney disease, stroke and certain types of dementia. It will take about 20 to 30 minutes.
If you're in the 40-74 age group without a pre-existing condition, you can expect to receive a letter from your GP or local authority inviting you for a free NHS Health Check. Don't worry if you haven't got your invitation yet, you can also book a free NHS Health Check by visiting:
