Fancy a good walk?

We are looking for volunteers to train as Health Walk leaders. As part of our Health and Wellbeing activity, we co-ordinate a programme of Health Walks for people across the district. The nationally accredited 'Health Walks in Sedgemoor' scheme offers residents a programme of walks which are accessible, free to attend and aimed at helping people to start walking or enjoying walking more and reaping the benefits for their health and wellbeing. 08/08/18

We are looking for more volunteer Health Walk Leaders to join their team, so whether you wish to help their existing walks or indeed start your own, the Volunteer Health Walk Leader training will equip you with the skills for you to become a Volunteer Health Walk Leader.

The training is free and full support will be given following the training day to help you along your way.

The training day will take place on Thursday 13th September between 10am and 3pm at the Sedgemoor District Council offices in Bridgwater - all are welcome.
