Volunteers needed for Apex Park Play Day

It may be cold and icy outside, but the organisers of Apex Park Play Day on Wednesday, 1st August are already planning this most popular event and hoping for a hot, sunny day as well as lots of volunteers to make sure the day runs smoothly. 23/02/18

Last year, despite inclement weather, approximately 7,000 people attended the free fun-filled day.

There are over 40 free activities, including model boats, face painters, inflatables, a climbing wall, dancing, turbo paddlers, zorbs and music activities. All of this needs people to help with planning of the event by being willing to be on the committee and attend occasional meetings in the run up or to help on the day as marshalls.

The Apex Park Playday is one of the largest in the country and allows parents to have a day-off from spending their hard-earned dosh to keep the kids entertained during the summer holidays as well as allowing families to spend quality time together having a picnic and exploring one of Sedgemoor's most beautiful parks.

If you can spare a few hours on the day or are happy to help in the planning of the event, please contact the organizer, Rosie Pike on or 07867967087
