The pool, which opened on the 1st March 2013, is part of Trinity Sports and Leisure where a range of indoor and outdoor leisure and fitness facilities are available. An 80 seater cafe also opened alongside the new pool on the 1st March.

This facility is located on the wider School site of Chilton Trinity School, (which is accessible from the Northern Distributor Road) on Chilton Street in Bridgwater. The postal code is TA6 3JA. The centre can be contacted direct via 01278 429119 or via Chilton@1610.org.uk.

The pool is a community facility.

Car park now open!

Sedgemoor District Council, Somerset County Council, 1610 and BAM Construction are pleased to announce that the main site car park is now open. As landscaping and general access works are still being undertaken we would like to apologise for any inconvenience still caused to visitors. We know current conditions are not ideal and thank all centre users for being patient whilst works are completed.

As the main car park is now open the temporary car park next to Wembdon Cricket Club clubhouse is closed.

  Visit this page for monthly news and picture updates. The contract for the construction of the pool was signed with BAM PP in October 2011 and work began on site in December 2011. The pool opened for its first swimmers at 11.30am on the 1st March 2013.
