The play area in Union Street, Bridgwater is set for improvements costing £16,000. 08/11/17
Union Street has a small play area which will be getting some new items of equipment. Works will commence on Wednesday 15th November 2017, resulting in different parts of the play area being closed off for approximately three weeks, subject to favourable weather conditions.
The existing toddler swings will be removed as they have reached the end of their life. The play space will be extended and a new triple swing consisting of a basket, junior and toddler seat alongside a junior stand-on see-saw, a toddler springer and two new self-closing gates will be installed. New safety surfacing will also be provided beneath these items of equipment.
The project is being funded from RLT2 developer contributions for play and Sedgemoor's maintenance budget.
