Police Crime Commissioner Election - Thursday 5th May 2016


Elections for Police Crime Commissioners will be on Thursday 5th May 2016

To vote in a Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) election a person must be registered to vote and also be one of the following:

  • 18 years of age or over on polling day
  • a British Citizen, a qualifying Commonwealth citizen, or a citizen of the European Union.
  • resident in the UK
  • not be subject to any legal incapacity to vote

To register to vote visit Register to Vote or contact the Electoral Services department on the number below. You must be registered by Monday 18th April to be able to vote at the forthcoming PCC election. The cut off date to apply to vote by post is Tuesday 19th April and to vote by Proxy is Tuesday 26th April.
