Report a possible breach of planning permission

If you would like us to investigate a possible breach of the planning rules, please complete the form below.

Before filling in the form you may wish to check Planning Online, where planning applications can be checked to see if consent has been approved or if a condition has been placed on that planning consent. This will help you to make your complaint more specific.

Please provide as much information as possible. This will help us to provide a more efficient service when dealing with your complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and visit the site within 21 days. After we have investigated we will tell you if no breach of planning control has taken place or what action we propose to take.

The name and address of any complainant will be maintained confidentially, however, should a court application be made for disclosure of your complaint following a Freedom of Information/Data Protection request, disclosure may follow; the application will strongly be resisted by the Council. If you decide to comment on any subsequent planning applications, these comments will be available for the public to read. Please note it is council policy not to accept anonymous complaints.
