In line with s113 of the Localism Act 2011, the Authority Monitoring Report has replaced the previously required Annual Monitoring Report.
The AMR is produced in accordance with the requirements of R34 of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 2012, and provides an overview of what has happening in Sedgemoor over the monitoring period and gives opportunity to review planning performance. For consistency, this Authority will continue to report annually, and this report reflects upon the period of 1st April 2016 and 31st March 2017.
Monitoring provides valuable feedback both on the decision making process and policy performance.
