The proposal would result in the loss of vehicle parking facilities and would, therefore, encourage parking on the highway with consequent risk of additional hazards to all users of the highway. The proposal is therefore contrary to saved Policy 49 of the Somerset and Exmoor National Park Joint Structure Plan Review and saved Policy H3 of the Sedgemoor District Local Plan. |
