Sedgemoor Disability Forum

The Sedgemoor Disability forum is facilitated by Compass Disability Services on behalf of the council. The Network provides disabled people and carers with an opportunity to have their say on issues that are important to them and in doing so meet new people.

Sedgemoor Older Person's Forum

A forum set up with the support of the Bridgwater Senior Citizens Forum to give older people the opportunity to understand more about the services available within the district but also to have a place to raise issues and concerns that they have about services, their communities and issues particular to themselves.

Working with the Bay Centre

Sedgemoor DC has started working with The Monday Club, a group of individuals with Learning Disabilities. The sessions will bring information and advice to the group on a wide variety of topics. The first session was held in July and PCSO Yvette Mayo talked to the group about safety and what to do if they felt unsafe at anytime.
