The Levels of Growth study was commissioned to understand future housing and employment growth requirements and inform the early stages of the Local Plan Review.
Local planning authorities are now responsible for establishing the right level of local housing and employment provision in their area. As part of establishing the objectively assessed housing and employments needs for the District the Council has therefore appointed consultants to undertake an analysis of this based on demographic projections and economic forecasts.
A copy of the report is available below. The study reviews economic growth potential and the resultant housing requirements for the District up to 2032. The outcomes of the report have informed the first consultation stage of Local Plan review.
